Nariyal Barfi

Coconut Barfi is a delicious Indian Sweet Dessert recipe made with coconut, milk. sugar, ghee, and cardamom powder, This is a mouthwatering dessert recipe which is super soft and tasty.

First, we have to grate a coconut then fry it in pure ghee when the coconut gets light brown in colour then add sugar and stir it, when sugar gets melt to add milk and cardamom powder stir it continuously.

When milk gets observed in coconut then turn off the gas flame, take it in a plate and garnish it with dry fruits.

You can also add dry fruits in starting and fry it in ghee it gives a very aromatic taste, and it smells goes all-around at the home. Try this easy coconut barfi for

the festival, and enjoy it with friends and families.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1cup desiccated Coconut
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 3-4 Cardamom crushed
  • 1 cup Sugar or as required
  • 1/2 cup of dry fruits
  • 2 tbsp of Ghee

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup desiccated Coconut
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 3-4 Cardamom crushed
  • 1 Cup Sugar or as required
  • 1/2 Cup Dry fruits
  • 2 tbsp Ghee

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame add dry fruits fry it for a second, then add grated coconut and fry it for minutes until the mixture gets light brown in colour.
  • Add sugar in a mixture and mix it well stir it for 5-6 minutes till the sugar get melt in a mixture.
  • Now add milk in a mixture mix it well and bring it to a boil on a medium flame.
  • Reduce the heat and cook until the milk is evaporated.
  • Add cardamom powder and continue to cook stirring constantly until the mixture turns dry and leaves the pan.
  • Press down the mixture with a spatula to check that the mixture turns dry properly.
  • Now the mixture gets dry then turn off the flame. Transfer the mixture to the greased pan and press down with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle the left dry fruits and keep aside at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours to set.
  • Once the coconut barfi has cooled completely then slice it into square shapes.
  • Serve it in a plate and enjoy it.
