How to make Matar Mushroom Masala

Heat an oil in a kadhai or pan on medium flame add green cardamom, green chilli and chopped onion and saute till translucent.

Add ginger garlic paste and tomato paste stir it well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Then add the spices powders turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, stir and saute till oil starts to leaves the sides of the onion, tomato masala mixture.

Add the chopped mushroom and peas and saute it for 2-3 minutes then add salt as required and cover the pan with a lid and cook it for 4-5 minutes.

Once done, sprinkle garam masala powder and cook it for again 2-3 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 250 gm Button Mushroom
  • 2/3 cup Boiled Peas (boiled)
  • 2/3 Green cardamom (crushed)
  • 2 Tomatoes paste of medium size
  • 1 Green chilli
  • 2 Onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 tnsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/5 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Mustard Oil
  • Salt as required
