Hari Matar ki dal is an easy and authentic recipe, It is quick and healthy dal, and it prepared in less time with regular Indian spices.
You can serve this
delicious hari matar ki dal with simple roti and rice.
1 cup of green peas
1 Onion ( chopped )
1 Tomato ( chopped )
2 Tbsp of Oil
1 whole Red Chilli
1 Bay leaf
1 tsp Cumin seed
1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/3 tsp Red Chilli powder
1 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/3 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 Garam masala powder
2 tbsp of coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Boil a green peas for 2-3 minutes on low-medium flame.
Grind a peas in a grinder make a smooth paste.
Heat a oil in a kadhai add red chilli, bay leaf, cumin seed and black pepper powder, saute it.
Add onion and fry it for a second, add tomato and cover a lid, cook it untill the tomato get little soft.
Add ginger garlic paste mix it and cover a lid.
Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder, fry it till the oil get separate from spices.
Add salt mix it with spices.
Add green peas paste mix it with spices and cover a lid, cook it for 2 minute.
Open the lid stir it, add 1-1/2 cup of water mix it, add coriander leaves and cover a lid cook it 4-5 minute.
After 5 minute open the lid stir it, dal get well cooked then turn off the flame.
Take out a dal in a serving bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves.
